We are seeking an experienced Salesforce QA Engineer with hands-on experience with manual and automation testing to join our fast-growing team. We're looking for team members who bring at least two years of software testing experience leveraging platforms such as Selenium and can work well in an Agile Team to deliver critical software solutions to a large federal program.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with our development teams and stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into comprehensive test cases and scenarios.
  • Design and develop test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Salesforce applications, including customizations and integrations to ensure system requirements are met.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to validate the functionality, performance, and security of Salesforce solutions.
  • Identify, document, and track defects using bug tracking tools such as JIRA
  • Perform regression testing to validate fixes and ensure that new enhancements do not adversely impact existing functionality.
  • Participate in the deployment process by conducting smoke tests and verifying successful deployments in different environments.
  • Review test results and evaluate them for conformance to design.
  • Serve as subject matter specialist providing testing know-how to make our software solutions defect free when delivered.
  • Ensure testing documentation is updated based on the new user requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies.
  • Write, implement, and report status for system test cases for testing based on system design specifications.
  • Provide regular status updates on testing progress, issues, and risks to your team and project stakeholders as necessary.
  • Contribute to the overall quality assurance strategy and participate in team meetings and knowledge-sharing sessions.
  • Stay updated on Salesforce best practices, new features, and industry trends to enhance the quality of testing efforts.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • At least two (2) years of hands-on experience working as a Salesforce QA Engineer with test automation tools such as Selenium or Apex testing framework.
  • At least two (2) years of experience working in an Agile team.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce platform features, configurations, and capabilities.
  • Strong understanding of software testing principles, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS DESIRED:

  • Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Administrator or Salesforce Platform App Builder are a plus.
  • Experience working with Federal agencies is a plus.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or related field.

CLEARANCE:

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance.
